To be honest, I was pretty nervous about delving into the details of my student loan debt. I guess I’ve been trying to maintain my ignorance about it for as long as possible, but I recently decided that it was time to face it and figure out a plan. I was fortunate to meet Joseph Reinke (founder of Fitbux) when he gave a talk at a conference I attended. We spoke after his presentation and I decided that I would complete my profile and have his team help me figure this all out. I just had my first call with my coach this morning and, although I have a long road ahead of me, he was SUPER helpful and positive while explaining things to me and outlining my options. He helped me understand the pros/cons of various approaches I can take in paying off my loans, while considering my financial and lifestyle priorities at the same time. I know this is just the first of several calls/emails, but I have a much better understanding of “the game” and I know what my next steps need to be.
