We recently posted our data regarding physical therapist salaries and we received numerous request to release data on physical therapist salary by state. We have included that information below. Physical therapist salary by state for new grads tend to vary significantly within each state. In addition to the average physical therapist salary by state, we’ve included the highs and lows for each state. The average, highs, and lows exclude outliers by excluding the bottom and top 2.5% of results. In the future we will include physical therapist salary within regions of each state by employment setting. However, at this point we do not have enough data points to make our results statistically significant. The population of data is based on the information provided by over 3,600 new grad physical therapists from over 230 DPT programs throughout the United States who became members of FitBUX between May 2017 and May 2018.
Note: we’re in the process of updating our models with the latest 2019 salary data. Check back soon and don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any urgent questions.
